Founded in 2008, the Hope Integrated Academy aims to provide a well-rounded quality formal and practical education that equips underprivileged Ugandan youth with life-skills which will enable them to live their dreams, to believe in themselves, and to take charge of their own destiny. Our programs focus on empowering students with tools needed to develop excellent entrepreneurship and leadership skills enabling them to become social entrepreneurs and responsible leaders within their own communities. The Academy provides an equal opportunity education for both boys and girls to excel in academic and skill development. Hope's curriculum integrated community service with leadership development to cultivate a spirit of volunteering and participation in community development.
To promote a strong spirit of community engagement and grass-roots development, the Academy provides infrastructure for a Community Resource Center. The center provides resources through these various establishments: Community Library - Youth Resource Center, Computer Center, Women's Empowerment Center, After school Program, Entrepreneurship & Leadership Development, Science Center and Adult Literacy.
